Advancing the Field

From hurting, to hopeful. You can be the difference.


 

Advancing the Field is a grant-funded* program the provides the paraprofessional workforce with a chance to earn certificates in Mental Health First Aid for Youth and Adolescent Community Health Care Worker or Mental Health First Aid and Family Community Health Worker with no tuition fees.

Paraprofessionals will enroll in three, one-credit courses over 15 weeks. Classes meet one night a week for three hours. Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED.

  • Practical Psychopharmacology for Human Service Workers

  • Psychological First Aid
  • Family Dynamics in Addiction
