Tutoring Opportunity with Refugee Minors

The Yunus Social Business Centre @ Becker College is partnering with Ascentria Care Alliance’s Unaccompanied Refugee Minor’s program. Currently, the program is seeking volunteers to tutor youths from countries around the world. These individuals have been through a broad range of circumstances such as living in refugee camps, separations from parents and other family members, interrupted education, and profound losses and traumas.

If you are interested in this opportunity, Marlena Springstubb will be holding an informational session for students on February 1st, at 5:00 P.M. at the Center for Global Citizenship, located in Boutin Student Center.

You can also contact Marlena Springstubb at mspringstubb@ascentria.org, or Dr. Debra Pallatto-Fontaine at Debra.Pallatto-Fontaine@becker.edu for more information regarding volunteer oppertunities.
