Becker Students, Faculty, and Staff Give Back to Worcester Community

On September 14, students, faculty, and staff helped took part in the United Way’s National Day of Caring, a community volunteer initiative. the Becker team helped renovate the Friendly House Neighborhood Center in Worcester. Involved were Alissa Quaratiello, Nursing student and member of the We Are Global Club; Lauren Canale, Office Manager, Career Education and Academic Advising; Dr. Debbie Pallatto-Fontaine, Executive Director for Global Initiatives and YSBC @ BC; and Racquel Knight, Global Citizenship student, YSBC @ BC intern, and president of the We Are Global Club.

Dr. Debra Pallatto-Fontaine and Dr. David Jordan presented their paper, “Aligning Leadership Theory with Social Business: A Triarchic Model Framework,” at the Social Business Academia Conference 2016 HEC Paris on November 9-10, 2016.

Both academic and non-academic writers consisting of business executives, consultants, social activists, social business practitioners, and others delivered research papers, case studies, in-depth evaluations, and papers documenting innovative directions of social businesses.
